2. Grundsatz
AssistUK Halloween läuft vollständig in Ihrem Browser.
Anfragen richten Sie an lars.tiedemann@assistuk.net.

Privacy Policy – AssistUK Halloween

2. Principle
AssistUK Halloween runs entirely in your browser. There are no accounts, no cookies, no advertising and no audience or usage measurement. What you collect and the photos from the ride stay on your device. The app does not send any of it to us or to anyone else.
3. Server log files
When the app is loaded, the hosting provider (IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany) automatically collects information in server log files that your browser transmits: IP address, date and time, name/URL of the requested file, HTTP status code, referrer URL, browser and operating system. This data cannot be attributed to specific persons and is not combined with other sources. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in technical provision and security). A data processing agreement is in place with IONOS.
4. Storage on your device
For the app to work, it stores the following exclusively on your device:
- your settings (for example language and spookiness level) and the content of your collection: sweets collected, ghosts scared and rounds ridden (localStorage),
- the photos from the ride and from the pumpkin workshop, and greeting cards you put into your collection (IndexedDB, at most 12 in total). These photos are pictures of the game scene; the app does not use a camera,
- your pumpkin design from the pumpkin workshop (localStorage),
- an offline copy of the app files (service worker), so that the app also starts without internet access.
The 3D print file (STL) from the pumpkin workshop is created directly on your device and downloaded to your device.
Greeting cards: your greeting card is created on your device. You can save it as a picture, print it or put it into your collection. In that case the picture is stored on this device; a name you entered is visible on it. The name is not stored separately, only as part of the picture. None of this is transmitted to us.
This data is not transmitted to us or anyone else. You can delete it at any time: the photos under “My collection” → “Delete photos”, everything via your browser settings (clear site data). The storage serves solely the function of the app and is permitted without consent under Section 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act).
5. Camera
AssistUK Halloween does not use a camera or a microphone.
6. Speech output
The read-aloud function uses the speech output built into your device or browser. The texts read aloud come from the app and are not transmitted to us. Depending on the device and browser, the manufacturer may generate the speech via its own services; its privacy terms apply to this. You can switch read-aloud off in the app settings.
7. Music and artificial intelligence
The music in the app was created in advance with artificial intelligence. Your data or photos are not used for this and are not transmitted to AI services.
8. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. As AssistUK Halloween does not store any personal data on our server, this mainly concerns the log files mentioned in section 3. Please send requests to lars.tiedemann@assistuk.net.
